On October 21 and 22, matches of the third round of the main phase of the UEFA Champions League for the 2025/26 season will take place. This round continues the tournament’s new concept, where all participants compete in a single, shared slate of matches without the traditional groups.
In the second season under this format, 36 clubs will play eight matches – four at home and four away – against various opponents. The 24 strongest teams by points will advance to the playoffs.

In general, the tournament battles within the new format focus on competing for top-24 playoff spots, where every victory brings a team closer to the decisive stage.
