On October 21 and 22, matches of the third round of the main phase of the UEFA Champions League for the 2025/26 season will take place. This round continues the tournament’s new concept, where all participants compete in a single, shared slate of matches without the traditional groups.
In the second season under this format, 36 clubs will play eight matches – four at home and four away – against various opponents. The 24 strongest teams by points will advance to the playoffs.

In general, the tournament battles within the new format focus on competing for top-24 playoff spots, where every victory brings a team closer to the decisive stage. It is also known that Dynamo Kyiv did not qualify for the main round of the UEFA Champions League and will continue to compete in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
