Watch Drake celebrate Oktoberfest in denim lederhosen
The 38-year-old rapper was spotted at Munich’s famed Oktoberfest, donning traditional German attire.
Drake fans should do the “Toosie Slide” to Dave’s Hot Chicken to get a free chicken slider sandwich.
The “For All The Dogs” rapper is giving away free sandwiches for the third consecutive year at the popular restaurant the day before his birthday.
“We want to continue this tradition of taking care of our fans while celebrating our most famous investor, Drake. We hope everyone both at home and abroad will come out on October 23 for a slider on us,” Dave’s Hot Chicken CEO Bill Phelps said in a statement.
How to get free Dave’s Hot Chicken on Drake’s birthday
Go to any Dave’s Hot Chicken location on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time and you can get a free chicken slider or tender (no purchase necessary). You just need to download the Dave’s App and have the deal up so it can be scanned. (Not available with online orders or via third-party delivery services.)
When did Drake invest in Dave’s Hot Chicken?
Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, will turn 39 on Oct. 24. The “October’s Very Own” Canadian artist initially invested in Dave’s Hot Chicken in 2021. Other big names who have supported the chain include Usher, Maria Shriver, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Strahan.
The chain started as a late-night munchies spot in an East Hollywood parking lot in 2017. Since Phelps joined as CEO in 2019 after having led Wetzel’s Pretzels for 25 years, the still-growing chain has expanded to 350 locations in the United States, with locations also in the Middle East and Canada.
