Oppo confirms a global launch for its Find X9 Pro flagship

Oppo has officially revealed that its new flagship Find X9 Series will launch globally. The series, which includes the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, will make its global debut in Barcelona on October 28, 2025, following its release in China today.

A major leap in camera tech

The headline feature is the Find X9 Pro’s 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto, co-engineered with the Swedish camera brand to deliver what Oppo calls its most advanced zoom system yet.

The new Hasselblad Master Camera System is powered by the company’s in-house LUMO Image Engineenabling stronger colour calibration, improved low-light performance and enhanced clarity in zoomed shots.

Both models will also support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video and LOG recording with ACES support, catering to pro-level users and content creators who want cinematic-quality footage and full editing flexibility.

The Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat display, while the standard Find X9 uses a smaller 6.59-inch panel, both framed by ultra-thin 1.15mm bezels. The Pro comes in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal, while the standard model will be offered in Titanium Grey, Space Black, and a rather eye-catching Velvet Red.

Under the hood, both devices run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, one of the first 3nm platforms to reach consumer phones following its reveal in September. Oppo claims this, combined with its third-generation silicon-carbon battery tech, will deliver up to two days of battery life with 7,025mAh on the Find X9 and 7,500mAh on the Pro.

Set to ship with Oppo’s new ColorOS 16

The phones ship with ColorOS 16, introducing smoother animation, smarter AI tools like AI Portrait Glow, and seamless multi-device connectivity with PCs and Macs.

To commemorate its launch, Oppo has continued to partner with Discovery Channel for the “Every Culture Finds Its Stage” campaign, which invites creatives to utilise the advanced cameras of the Find X9 Series to tell cultural stories.

Oppo is doubling down on the global market

Oppo’s move to roll out the Find X9 Pro into international markets is an indication of its commitment to directly compete with Apple and Samsung in the top-tier flagship space.

Oppo was once a force to be reckoned with, but its global presence has dwindled over the past few years, with last year’s Find X8 the first flagship in years to make an international debut.

That said, the Oppo Find X9 Pro is shaping up to be one of the most advanced phones of 2025, featuring a 200MP Hasselblad zoom camera, a large silicon-carbon battery, and Dolby Vision recording. This could be Oppo’s prime chance to reclaim its spot as one of the world’s leading smartphone brands.
