Anker has launched the EufyCam C35, a small smart camera that doesn’t hide its best features behind a paywall.
The C35, which is compatible with the HomeBase Mini, is a compact wireless smart camera that you can mount indoors or outdoors in a number of ways in seconds. The 1080p resolution camera comes with an f/1.2 aperture and 1/2.9″ CMOS sensor and offers a 130 degree field of view.
And unlike some of the other security cameras on the market that need harsh spotlights to record at night, the C35 uses PureColor Vision TM to record full colour video at night – without the need for extra light. Now, instead of glowing grayscale silhouettes, you’ll be able to clearly see faces, cars, and pets.
Smart AI detection also means you’ll be able to identify and detect people, pets and vehicles and set key zones to get bespoke notifications. The camera also comes with built-in sound and light alarms to deter any threats, as well as an in-built microphone.
Here’s the best part though: you don’t need to pay for a subscription to use all the features. Footage can be stored locally or on the HomeBase Mini using a microSD card (sold separately). That means you don’t have to worry about cloud uploads, monthly fees, or privacy leaks.
A single EufyCam C35 camera costs £69.99, a two-camera set with HomeBase Mini will set you back £169.99, and a four-camera kit with HomeBase Mini costs £249.99
