When does the last episode of ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 come out?

As the season finale of “Peacemaker” Season 2 approaches, John Cena’s Chris Smith has hit rock bottom. Not only has he ended up in prison, but his Quantum Unfolding Chamber, which gave him access to the alternate dimension, has also fallen into the hands of the Advanced Research Group of the United States (ARGUS), who are wasting no time in using it. In addition to that, Smith blames himself for all the deaths around him and refuses to see his friends while in prison.

With Smith now behind bars, “Rick Flag Sr. tasks his team with searching the Quantum Unfolding Chamber for another dimension where he can carry out his plan,” the final episode’s synopsis says.

“Peacemaker,” based on the character from director and screenwriter James Gunn’s 2021 film “The Suicide Squad,” follows the “explosive escapades” of Peacemaker, “a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it,” according to HBO.

All eight episodes of “Peacemaker” Season 2 were written by Gunn, who also directed three episodes this season, including the first one. “Peacemaker” is also the first original DC show to have its series premiere on HBO Max, according to HBO Max head of original content Sarah Aubrey.
