(1) - Drone (n.) To love in idleness; to do nothing. (2) - Drone (n.) To utter or make a low, dull, monotonous, humming or murmuring sound. (3) - Drone (v. i.) A monotonous bass, as in a pastoral composition. (4) - Drone (v. i.) A humming or deep murmuring sound. (5) - Drone (v. i.)
